Duane

Having spent many
years advising and working with CPAs on particularly challenging aspects
of tax law, Duane has developed a special expertise in this arena. For
example, he has resolved issues for non-citizens who are taxed as U.S.
residents. He also recently completed a lengthy program in estate planning
and administration.
Duane is a member
of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Arizona
Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Section
of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Prior to forming Eckelberg & Wienshienk, Mr. Eckelberg operated an independent accounting and tax practice in Sun City, Arizona. He has also served as the Western Operations Manger for SCS/Compute. During his 12 years with that firm, he worked closely with hundreds of CPAs throughout the West, supporting their use of tax software systems to complete individual and business tax returns.
Prior to entering the accounting profession, Mr. Eckelberg was a licensed contractor in Oregon. He has also served as an assistant to the honorable US Representative from the state of North Dakota, Arthur Link.

Lois
Wienshienk, CPA

Widely experienced in all aspects of tax and accounting, Lois has a special interest in the development of financial statement presentations, estate planning, individual and business tax planning, and Canadian tax issues.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
(AICPA), and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. On
behalf of the AICPA, Lois has served as an AICPA Quality Reviewer, responsible
for ensuring the continued excellence of AICPA members.
Prior to forming Eckelberg & Wienshienk, Ms. Wienshienk was the controller of an Arizona concrete construction company. She is a former partner in the CPA firm Finerman & Associates, PC, having previously been associated with Finerman & Smith, PC for many years. Lois has limited availability for new clients.
Lois has also served as a Community Court Judge in the Marshall Islands
and as treasurer of Girl's Ranch of Arizona. She holds a Master's Degree
in Social Science from Hofstra University.
